Sweet Potato Amity When I first heard the nickname I had to pause until I could stop laughing, because in some laatin american countries, "batata" is often referred as a sexual innuendo.
Here in Argentina we have a saying: "Enterrar la batata", literally "to bury the sweet potato", meaning "to have sex".
